instead of making vows.

We should have felt ashamed instead of safe.

-- certainly not the affluent,

the wealthy.

I don't believe that it's a

pursuit

that belongs to any group --

We all wish for

moral authority.

Squatting in the ruins

we make tea. Chat

with the fanatics, the driftless.

Outsiders all.

Only the foundations

left standing.
