At what point do we begin to differentiate between 'us' and 'them' ? If neanderthal and denovian peoples can become 'us', then can 'we' become something else ?
Exactly. And considering that our notions of self are entirely based on experience and historical reference it's almost inarguable that we are indeed something else.
